Welcome to Nottscops, a website devoted to photographic memories of the police in Nottinghamshire.

Everyone has photographs - photos of our families, holidays, friends, and pictures which were thought of at the time as not being very interesting. It's those photographs that were possibly stored in a shoe-box and stored in a cupboard to be forgotten about for years that are nowadays so interesting.

Police officers take photos too and, again, many of the photos that were taken were probably not thought to be all that remarkable at the time.

However, many years on, it's interesting to see those old uniforms, police stations long closed down and Ford Zephyr police cars.
These are the photographs that I want to share with everybody. So please browse through these pages. You may well recognise old faces or maybe a photo of yourself that you didn't realise had been taken!

Meanwhile please use the search box below to seek out old familiar times and faces that make up Nottscops. Best results achieved by typing in just one word
