County Zephyr at Epperstone in 1961

Photographed in 1961, Chief Inspector Ray Wood and Pc John (Chalky) White stand with a Ford Zephyr traffic car at the rear of the new block entrance to Epperstone Manor. This was well before the new teaching block had been built, hence the possibility of actually getting the car where it is! This area later became completely enclosed with nowhere to park a car.

Ray later led the Force Dog Section and Chalky White later was Chief Inspector in the Force Control Room
