A bridge too far

Ian had handcuffed a suicidal woman to the railway bridge from which she was attempting to jump. To put it politely, the woman was rather well-built and the only way he could stop her from falling was to handcuff her until John and Paul came to help him recover her.

A photographer on the way to a wedding, snapped her cuffed to the bridge and the photo was on the front page of The Sun the next day. The officers all got commendations but probably only because of the publicity in the national papers.
