Underwater Search Unit Training in 1973

On 21st November 1973, Pc 276 David Winter (left) and Pc 616 Alan Thornhill, together with Bob Collington (on the bank) are on a training day near the Toll Bridge on the Trent.
On a rather poignant note, Dave Winter later transfered to North Yorks Police and after being promoted to sergeant was shot and killed on duty.
