Smart Nottscops on Parade

Do you remember marching, drill, bulled boots, razor-sharp creases and generally looking immaculate? I’m told that recruits no longer do drill at training centres and wouldn’t know how to march if they had to. Mind you, there was always at least one recruit who was the only one in step on the drill square.
Saluting has gone now too. No more standing to attention and saluting hearses or senior officers in the street.
So step back in time and take a look at these smart officers of the past.
