Maurice Selby was PC 511 and left the force in 1969 when the job was haemorrhaging officers due to poor pay. He went on to work for Bell Fruit in Lenton and became a
Regional Manager. He left there and was known by many when he was the
Landlord of the Admiral Rodney in Southwell. Retired now and really pleased
to see old faces like Alan Newton who, like Maurice, was a cadet with many, many
years ago.
