Funeral Cortege of Charles McLachlan - April 1991

The Chief Officers of all Forces of England and Wales pay their respects outside Nottingham Shirehall as the coffin of Charles McLachlan is escorted by officers of the Mounted Section. The parade was commanded by Chief Superintendent Mick Holford and the officer taking the salute on the nearside of the road near the cameras was Superintendent Malc Whitt.

The mounted escort was front offside Sgt Chris Watson on Crusader, front nearside Pc Gary Marshall on Major, rear nearside Pc Pete Kerry on Yeoman  and r ear offside Pc Robert Syson on Saxon
