The PM meets Cadet Jeff King

The right marker is Cadet 55 Jeff King who later became Dc 576 who recalls being very nervous on parade until he saw how tiny she was.  Perhaps the miners should have seen her in real life! " Despite Superintendent Force looking like he had been in the nearby fields I think we looked very smart.  Also in the picture is the back of the Chief Constable Charles McLaughlin and the gloved hand of Inspector Dennis Smith."  Further along the line is the Cadet Dave Gibbons.There were other photos taken that day which must show a very auspicious occasion.
