The lads of Kirkby circa 1953-1955
Photo: Bob Knowles Bob Knowles's partner was handed this photo to pass to Nottscops of the lads at Kirkby. Bob says that the photograph was taken at the front of the Tudor Rose Factory next door to Kirkby Police Station. His dad, Sam Davy, who was the Inspector in charge is on the front row and left Kirkby in 1955 putting the photograph somewhere between 1953-55.
