In the water far left is Bob Collington, Pete Mee. On the bank is Superintendent Les Pierce with Pc Nev Hoskins. Standing to the extreme right is Insp Jack Fletcher. The photo was taken at the river Trent at Beeston and was of a search for a young boy who had disappeared.Unfortunately, the team were unsuccessful that day, but the boy was seen at the side of the river some distance down river a day or two later, and Peter Mee went to the scene and recovered his body.
