Foreign Force vehicles providing mutual aid

A Thames Valley Police Range Rover leads the lineup of foreign police vehicles parked up on standby in the car park of Burntstump Country Park next to Sherwood Lodge at the start of the 1984 Miners' Strike. Over the next twelve months Nottinghamshire was too see the assistance of thouands of officers from all over England and Wales.
