Top row No 5, Bob Jackson, No. 7 Tony Wallace, who resigned and became a rep in the wines and spirits tradeNo.8. Alan Somerset, tragically killed in a car accident on his way home one night after 2pm - 10pm shift as a P.c.at Retford. He was from Southwell and also had a brother who was older and a Police Officer. Middle row from left. Barrie Ballington from Mansfield, believed he finished up at Worksop as a P.c. 2nd left: Rick Spouge. 4th from left middle row: Peter Hickling from Fishpool, Larch Farm (Ravenshead as its called now). Peter had a BSA Gold Flash motor cycle with all the trimmings and used to pick Rick Spouge up from Rick's home at Mansfield to drive both to Harrogate (Panal Ash) for their intitial three months training in 1957. The following weekend they would both return home until Sunday night, then back again.
