Arnold's Last Volvo

Even Specials were allowed to drive these excellent cars if they were given a Grade 8.This however has faded into history with the new driving policies introduced since 1994 when this picture was taken. Special Constable Alan Marwood was allowed to take the car with the permission of the Div Commander to a charity day to raise money for the Notts/Lincs air ambulance of East Midlands Airport. Alan still had his traffic hat which was awarded to him in 1994 after his long service with Traffic. The shades however are his own!
