Epperstone Manor Closing Ceremony
On Friday 7th November 2003, nearly 50 years on from its opening, Epperstone Manor closed as the Force Training School. The Chief Constable Mr Steve Green and Mr R. A. Hassett of the Nottinghamshire Police Authority headed a ceremony to say goodbye to the splendid building that holds memories for so many. Officers and vehicles paraded for inspection in many ways similar to the Opening Day celebrations half a century ago.
