On Thursday 7th March 2002 the creaky electric shutters on the entrance ramp to Nottingham Traffic Wing on Shakespeare Street creaked no more, signalling the end of the building's occupation by TD(N) Nottingham Traffic. The closure came about just before the Force Restructure and the opening of the new Roads Policing Unit at the Riverside on April 2nd.
