Vanguards in the Fire Station Yard

In the early 1960s the City Police "Mechanised Division" used Standard Vanguards for their fleet. This photograph was taken in the Fire Station Yard which was shared and is adjacent to Nottingham Central Police Station. It's only fair really that the fire officers used the police canteen so we used their yard for photos! .
