On Point Duty

Pc Paul Woodward, City Police, in 1970 on point duty causes a Nottingham City Transport bus bound for Arno Vale to halt at the top of Queen Street at the junction with Upper Parliament Street. The photograph was actually taken by an American tourist who asked Woody and Lennie Young who was with him, if he could take his picture. Woody agreed, but asked if the tourist could send him a copy after his return back to the States.
