Radio Call Near The Fosse

Photographed on the A6097 Road from Epperstone to the A46,this is believed to be P.c. 1296 George Gordon Smallman. The Motor Cycle was 668 CVO. George tells Nottscops that it is either him or another Officer that worked at West Bridgford at the time. There were only two of them.
(However, his wife Peggy says it definately is 'Gordon' on the Bike!! )
It would be about 1961/2 when the photograph was taken as the Panniers were rigid boxes instead of the previous canvas ones.
