The New Jam Sandwiches

From the mid 60s until 1977 All Traffic cars were plain white with the word POLICE on the front doors. Whether it was for fashion or safety reasons new cars from that date had the distinctive red striping down the side. These newly delivered Triumph 2500TCs were the first to get the new look in Nottinghamshire, although the M1's Rover 35000 had been marked up that way for some time before. The Triumphs were the last BL cars to be purchased by Notts Police before being replaced by Ford Cortinas and Granadas.
