Fishing them out of the Trent!

A rather bizarre photograph of an incident on the River Trent in 1963 when the then new police motor boat came into operation late on a Saturday night searching for the bodies of two people said to have jumped in. It looks like while the officers are frantically searching for those already in the water, another is preparing to jump in!
