"I have been trying to find out about a mug which I have had in my family for over 30 years.
The mug itself has the following printed on the bottom, Sandal Ware, Lancaster & Sandland, Ltd., Hanley, Staffs. England.
with the number 1391.
The mug is printed with a view of Epperstone Manor, Nottinghamshire Constabulary on it.
It is in pefect condition, I have bee trying to find out was it made just for a souvenir reason, or is it some kind of commemorative mug??
I have even tried to contact the Nottingham police but to no avail.........
My father had this for many years, he was in the specials many years ago, could it have something to do with this??
