Reg Hibbert Through the Ages

These splendid photos are of the late Reg Hibbert in the grounds of Nottingham Castle modelling Nottinghamshire Police and City Police uniforms from 1840 to 1910.

Lots of us remember Reg.

In my case I remember him at the Driving School when he taught me to drive Grade 3 on my Panda Course. In 1975, while still a probationer, I remember Reg shouting at me and the other two students while we tried to master the art of Road Craft and the system of Car Control in Mark 1 Ford Escorts.

In later years Reg, Pc 561, returned to the traffic wing at Nottingham and then to Arnold Sub Division.

Always a character, I'm sure many of us have fond memories and a tale or two to tell about Reg.
