Motorcycle Combination Officers Somewhere in Nottinghamshire

I'm not sure where this was taken but it could well be the Midland Station in Nottingham. Meanwhile I'm grateful to Tony Roach, who is an ex-Liverpool City Police motor patrol man currently researching vehicles used by the various forces surrounding the Liverpool area: Accrington, Bootle, Southport, St.Helens, Warrington, Wallasey, Birkenhead, and the Mersey Tunnel. He has recently bought an ex-Liverpool City Police 1964 Triumph Speed Twin motor cycle and is putting it back into police trim. Tony has sourced quite a bit of police equipment for it but is short of a Cossor wireless set for the tank and a Britax crash bar! So if any Nottscops can help, let me know!
As for the photo above,Tony says, "I don’t know where the location is but can confirm that the machines are Brough Superiors, and were two of a batch of four registered consecutively TV 3673 – TV 3676 and were supplied in March 1931 to Nottingham City Police, one on the 15th and three on the 25th. They had J.A.P. side valve engines and castle bottom-link forks. They were sold back to the Brough Works in 1935, presumably in part – exchange for new 11-50 models. The works sold them on for £50. Two of the bikes survive, and also one frame which has been built up with a different engine. The one that didn't survive – TV 3676 – was sold privately for £25 in 1939 to an RAF airman at Hornchurch. Last heard of in 1954 when it broke down and left for some time and when the owner returned it had gone. "
